We had a nice holiday at the home of Amy's Aunt Marghi, who lives not far from us and invited us to join their family. We also got to see Grandpa Bob and Grandma Jane, who were there for the holiday as well. Here's a picture of Great-Grandpa Bob helping Abi walk around the house with his cane. Abi's starting to walk now--she can go from one side of the room to the other without help. Most of the time she prefers to hold on to something, though.

We're thankful for lots of things, but I'll just mention a couple of them here.

First, we're thankful for our new house!

We bought this house a month ago, and have been busy painting, packing, moving, and unpacking. We're really happy with this place, it has a lot of room, a good neighborhood, and a nice yard for children and gardening wives to play in. We'll post some more pictures after we get a chance to finish digging ourselves out of boxes. Thanks to everyone who has helped us with the transition!

I also wanted to mention our gratitude to my Aunt Terry, who passed away this weekend after a long battle with cancer.

Terry was the greatest Aunt in the world, she always took great interest in our lives and loved to see us and take care of us when we would come to visit. She always knew where everyone was and what they were up to. She was the most positive and caring person, always quick to let us know how talented and special she thought we all were.

We were fortunate to see Terry recently during our trip to Utah. In the last few years she had become involved with a local group of horses, and we went with her to see and feed them. Here are some pictures from that day:

Terry: we're thankful for you, we love you, and you will be missed!
