The Mexican Jeremy Fair

Or in other words, what we've been doing in the last couple of weeks. Amy attended the International HIV/AIDS conference in Mexico City at the beginning of the month. In addition to attending meetings, Amy and her colleagues presented posters detailing some of the work they've been doing recently. Amy is pictured below with her poster, then with one of the conference mascots, and with her colleagues.

Amy flew direct from the conference to meet me in Boise for Jeremy Field's wedding (congrats to Jeremy and Jenn!). We had a nice visit with my parents and my sister Emily and her kids, who were also visiting. On the day before the wedding, while me and the boys enjoyed golf and video games for Jeremy's bachelor party, Amy got to have some fun of her own, with swimming and shopping at Saver's. Jeremy and Jenn were married in the Boise Temple, and the wedding was great! It was nice to see lots of old friends, and really nice to see Jeremy happily married. Here are a few pics from the wedding day:

This past weekend we went to the Montgomery County (Maryland) Fair with our friends Jess and Dan. We had a real good time visiting all the animals, and figuring out Amy's future plans to raise goats and chickens. It was a lot of fun to go to a fair again, even though we had to leave early because I had to work Saturday night. Here is a picture of Amy and Jess with the largest pumpkin ever in 60 years of the Montgomery County Fair:

This weekend we'll be going to my sister Catherine's wedding in Denver, which we're very excited about! We should have a lot of good pictures to post from that. Also, I've just about finished playing with our pictures from France (and by "playing" I mean pretending to know something about something about editing pictures with photoshop), so we hope to post those soon.

Also, congrats to Brent and Kelly on the birth of Laney!
